A JSON mail protocol is not a new list.

Answer A JSON mail protocol is not a new list. RFC 8620 describes JMAP, the JSON Meta Application Protocol. A newer way for a client to talk to a server is not a new file of subscribers. The document is RFC 8620, titled The JSON Meta Application Protocol (JMAP). That is a fact about mail software or about an old specification. It is not a solo ad price, a rank, or proof that a stranger opted in.

A newer way to talk is not a new file.

The note that started this: RFC 8620, The JSON Meta Application Protocol (JMAP), RFC 8620.

A rented send is one letter to someone else's list. A newer way for a client to talk to a server is not that letter, and it is not permission. A seller who says they moved to this protocol so the list is fresh has changed the conversation between software. The file of subscribers is a different fact. The document does not create that file. It does not show that a stranger asked for your offer.

Before you buy solo ads, ask who is on the list in words that do not mention the protocol. If the answer comes back as JMAP, you heard how a client can talk to a server. You did not hear a name. Ask again for the list, the sending domain, and the refund line. A protocol upgrade is not list work, and it is not a reason to pay more for the same unnamed file.

What is JMAP?

RFC 8620 describes JMAP, the JSON Meta Application Protocol. A newer way for a client to talk to a server is not a new file of subscribers. The document is RFC 8620, titled The JSON Meta Application Protocol (JMAP).

Say it the long way once, then use the plain version. A client needs a way to talk to a mail server. This document describes one such way. Newer does not mean the people are new. The people, if they exist, were collected by some other act, or they were not collected at all. The talk between client and server does not perform that act. When a seller sounds proud of the protocol, ask what changed about the file. If nothing changed about the file, the pride is about software.

The letter you rent still has to go to the named list, from the named sending domain, under the refund line you accepted. JMAP does not choose those. A buyer who feels modern because the seller cited the document is feeling a specification. Specifications do not opt strangers in. A seller who leads with the protocol and cannot name the list is not selling a solo yet. They are selling a way for their own tools to talk.

Does a JSON mail protocol give you a new list?

No. A JSON mail protocol is not a new list. That is a fact about mail software or about an old specification. It is not a solo ad price, a rank, or proof that a stranger opted in.

Fresh software and a fresh file get sold as the same sentence. Split them. The protocol can be new to the seller's tools. The subscribers are new only if someone actually joined, which this document does not show. Do not pay a premium because the talk between client and server changed. The premium, if you pay one, is for the named list and the named domain. A seller who prices the protocol is pricing a document.

From the seller's side, do not advertise the move to JMAP as hygiene. Hygiene would be about who asked to be on the list. This document is about how a client talks to a server. If you mention it, say what it is not, in the same note: not a new file, not a price, not a rank, and not proof a stranger opted in. Then write the list name. Buyers can forgive a technical citation. They should not forgive a citation standing where the list name belongs.

What does the buyer still have to name?

A buyer still has to name the list, the sending domain, and the refund line on the order. The way a client talks to a server does not name the people who asked for the offer.

Say the list so you could recognize the send. Say the domain that sends. Say what the refund line says if you got a different file or a different domain. Those lines are the order. RFC 8620 can be a footnote for a curious reader. A footnote is not a send. A seller who will not step off the protocol and onto the names does not have a solo to sell you today.

Check solo ad pricing against the named list, not against the age of the client protocol. A price that cites JMAP as the reason it is higher is a price for a way of talking. It still will not put a new subscriber on the file, and it still will not ask them to want the offer.
